Girls Who Code the Christmas Tree is a one-off event where girls bring coding to life by designing and programming using the fantastic BBC Microbit. With creativity, collaboration, and a sprinkle of festive magic, participants will learn to light up their skills and shine as future innovators. 

Welcome to Mission Egg Possible 🐣🔍

Your mission is to become a team of coding agents, using your BBC micro:bit to track down hidden eggs scattered around the library. But these aren’t ordinary eggs—each one contains a piece of a secret Easter code!

You’ll need to program your micro:bit to help you locate clues, respond to signals, and guide you on your hunt. Use your coding skills, creativity, and teamwork to find every egg and crack the final code.

Get ready to become an inventor! In this fun, hands-on STEM session, participants will build, code, and race their own remote control cars using a BBC micro:bit as the brain. 

Along the way, they'll discover how coding, electronics, and engineering work together as they test ideas, solve problems, and improve their cars before taking on the final race challenge. 🚗🚗🚗
